Tutor Profile
Ian Martin
With over 20 years working in nearly every facet of the health and fitness industry, Ian has a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer students. This includes gymnasium manager, strength and conditioning coach, personal trainer, and industry registration board manager.
These clients have included people requiring rehabilitation through to elite athletes including state, national and world champions and AFL level as well as thousands of members of the general public.
He has extensive lecturing experience in health and fitness courses at both TAFE and university level and was a consultant to Sport and Recreation Training Australia (SRTA), the national sport and recreation training board on the content of the fitness qualifications.
Currently Ian runs a successful personal training business while completing further studies in Osteopathy.
Qualifications include Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Certificate IV in Fitness and Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
